Penn State gets hard-fought high-flying

The Fiesta Bowl has raised the bar for entertainment in the New Year's Day Six bowls on Saturday.No. 9 Penn State beat No. 11 Washington in a fantastic game that saw the Nittany Lions take a 35-28 win. To their credit, Washington did not give up after falling behind 28-3.BOWLS: | Saquon Barkley rushed 18 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns, but the story of the game was Penn State's Trace McSorley, who completed 32 of 41 pa ses for 342 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
